Back in 2012 when Charlie and I first started The Charlie Tonic Hour, we knew we needed a logo. We also knew that we didn’t have the money for professionally designed graphics so we found an old absinthe poster by Leonetto Cappiello that was in the public domain. We thought the expressions of the two people in the poster reflected our personalities and reflected the flirty, fun vibe we were going for.

We photoshopped it and added the title of our show and left it at that for the past five years. As we planned how to update the show for the release of our 300th episode, we realized how desperately we needed new graphics. Something that was still fun and flirty but also could be read in a thumbnail on a smartphone. Something that would let the viewer know right away that this is an alcohol podcast. Luckily Katie Frasier of Vividly Kate Branding and Graphic Design was able to help us out. She met with us to go through our brand and articulate our personality and then came back with an amazing fresh look. The logo looks down at a cocktail glass with ice and a garnish. The colors are bold and reflect our old logo but with an injection of energy. We are so happy to show off our new look which is making its debut all across social media today.
