Smart Cars and Wondrous Windows

With all the excitement coming out of CES, the annual Consumer Electronics Association’s trade show which just wrapped on January 13th, Ginny and I thought it might be fun to take a few moments to jump into some tech talk during next week’s episode. We plan to look at a few new devices and concepts that could be very interesting to play with over the next few years.

Here’s one that caught fire generating a ton of internet chatter and has me excited. Minority Report jumps off the screen with Samsung’s Smart Window.

Another topic we’re considering covering is Google’s “Driverless Car”. The concept seems to be catching hold and tests are currently taking place in Nevada where it is now legal to operate them on public roads. In fact, Nevada’s Department of Transportation is currently creating safety standards and designating areas where driverless cars can be tested. Here’s a quick look at what might just be next for automotive travel.

[Sadly the video here faded over time, but you can find others related to driverless cars here.]

I’m sure we’ll cover a lot more in this segment, but we thought it would be fun to share some teaser video as we look ahead to next week.

  1. I together with my friends have already been going through the great strategies found on your site then unexpectedly came up with an awful feeling I had not thanked the website owner for those strategies. All of the young men happened to be as a result excited to read through all of them and have in effect simply been using these things.
